The life of moving (part 1)by Ansh Nurpuri

It was finally the day to move, I gathered all the stuff in my room and transferred them into a typical cardboard box.I did not know what to label the box as it was my eighth time moving. I am moving because my parents got a better job at place called Fine Creek.Before we started to move, my parents showed me around the area.It was a small town with a population of 10,000 people.My parents told me that my school was not to far from the house and that I could walk there.My new house was the newest house on the street. It had 7 bedrooms,4 bathrooms,2 living rooms, a basement and a massive backyard.But personally I like the house that I currently live in. It is a small cozy bungalow near the ocean, and it’s perfect for me. The reason I don’t want to move is because all my friends live close to me and I have a good reputation at school. Over the years, my family and I have moved several times but the house I currently live in is my favourite.I also like swimming but the new house is far from any body of water and it also doesn’t have a swimming pool.My sister has already packed her stuff and is ready to load her belongings into the truck .I am supposed to be packing but I want to write in my diary.I write in my diary because then I can express myself the way I can’t in public.I had a lot of stuff but I threw most of it out. The stuff included dirty clothes, Lego,stuffies, toy planes and more. “Now enough writing, and more packing” I said to myself as I was gathering the last few toys on the floor.I taped up my box and brought it downstairs to the living room where my parents were talking to the real estate agent who sold the house and also helped them find the new house. At last I had to say my final ‘farewells’ to my favourite home. My best friend Rocky who lives next door came rushing out to say bye and some brownies his mother had baked. Dad said it was time to go so we got in the truck and left never to see the house again.
